Willie M. Paine Jr., was called into ministry in August of 2005, under the leadership of Reverend Eddie Goliday, Pastor of Clear Creek Baptist Church of Oxford, MS.  He served as an associate minister under Pastor Goliday until January 2006. He became an associate to his lifelong friend Reverend Henry Calvert who was the pastor of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Walnut, MS. In September 2008, Pastor Paine served as Ripley 2nd Baptist's interim Pastor and within two months he was elected Pastor.

Pastor Paine holds a Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. He also holds Master of Ministry in Theology degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida.

Pastor Paine has been happily married to his high school sweetheart since April 13, 1985.  They have three children; Latosha, Latoya, and William Paine.
